5 days a week, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. Various shifts per week.
We are looking for a qualified childcare practitioner who shares our vision and who has the skills, experience, knowledge and passion to help us make our dream a reality.
Applicants must have a minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years and Childcare; practical experience and good knowledge of delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS); good communication skills and the ability to develop a good rapport with parents, children and colleagues; experience of working within a team in an early years environment and a good understanding of what makes a good team player.
The role involves supporting the Managers and Room Leaders with the day-to-day running of the nursery. You will be a key worker and therefore responsible for the care, welfare, learning and development of a small group of children in accordance with the EYFS and relevant legislation. You will deliver learning opportunities, carry out observations, plan next steps, track progress, ensure children are meeting their age and stages and update individual learning using our online recording system ‘Tapestry’. In conjunction with the senior team, you will be responsible for the safeguarding and welfare of all children, keep up to date with national legislation and local guidance and work with the senior team to critically reflect and implement development plans for the provision.
