Funding information...

The Early Years Free Entitlement (EYFE) is a statutory entitlement for all children aged 9 months to 4 years if parents meet eligibility criteria, some 2-year-olds if parents claim certain benefits and ALL 3 & 4 year olds. The universal entitlement is for a maximum of 15 hours per week over 38 weeks per year, or 570 hours stretched across the year. For extended entitlement this is for a maximum of 30 hours per week, over 38 weeks per year, or 1,140 hours stretched across the year. At Charley Barleys we ‘stretch’ the EYFE across 47.5 weeks of the year to a maximum of 12 hours or 24 hours each week,

Invoicing including EYFE sessions

Childcare is charged across 50 weeks of the year (we are closed for one week at Christmas and statutory bank holidays). As Charley Barleys charges for 50 weeks, EYFE and the cost for non-EYFE hours are spread evenly over your monthly invoices, so the amount payable for nursery fees remains the same throughout the year. We will calculate your monthly invoice as follows:

[weekly cost (including EYFE sessions) x 47.5 weeks] + [weekly cost x 2.5 weeks]

12 months

We hope this information is helpful and please don’t hesitate to get in contact to discuss further.
